taking aprox 30mins to reach Belur Math
We
reached there a bit early, In 2nd half Belur Math gate open at 4pm,
so we moved to nearby Rangoli mall and had a coffee over there. Now time to go …
Yes we
are no time…
After
entering in Belur Math, 1st we went to museum
Great place
to get knowledge about Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Viveknanda, their followers and
their activities.
Beluṛ Maṭh is the
headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, founded by Swami Vivekananda,
a chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. It is located on the west bank of
Hooghly River, Belur, West Bengal, India and is one of the significant institutions.
The temple is notable for its architecture that fuses Hindu, Christian, Islamic
and Buddha motifs as a symbol of unity of all religions.
After visiting
the holy temple we moved to river bank sat there and waited for evening prayer
really it
was a heavenly feeling, if you get the chance to go there please don’t miss
the evening prayer – meditation.
