Dakshineswar and Belur Math Diary page 2


Before moving out from Dakshineswar lets check the other part of the temple.

The temple compound, apart from the nine-spire main temple, contains a large courtyard surrounding the temple, with rooms along the boundary walls.




There are twelve shrines dedicated to Shiva—Kali's companion


along the riverfront you can find a temple of Sri Radha-Krishna


a bathing ghat on the river, a shrine dedicated to Rani Rashmoni. 'Nahabat', the chamber in the northwestern corner just beyond the last of the Shiva temples, is where Ramakrishna spent a considerable part of his life.


We moved to river bank. it was cool and breezy. It always good to take rest after fill your empty stomach.






but it also good to have bath or swim in river water


Break is over time to go to Belur Math, we had decided to go by boat. Its going to be very exciting journey.
