Mandarmani

Mandarmani is a seaside village in the state of West Bengal, East Midnapore district, in India. Northern end of the Bay of Bengal. It is a very beautiful place to visit. You can find good seaside resort with good food comfortable stay with reasonable price. Monsoon and Winter season is good time to visit there. We went there in last year monsoon. We started from Kolkata, West Bengal. It is almost 170 km from Kolkata to Mandarmani.

We can go by Bus or Train or private car to Mandarmani. You need to catch train from Howrah to Digha and from Digha you need to go to Mandarmani by local commute, for bus you need to go to Esplanade, Gariahat or Howrah and bus will take you till Chawalkhola from there you need to catch local commute to Mandarmani your hotel.

We have started from Kolkata on Saturday morning. At Kolaghat we had our lunch then moved to Mandarmani. We already booked room in Nil Nirjaney resort . It’s a good budget resort. After a long journey it was pretty relaxing on the beach side.

If you like less crowd then weekdays are good for you but if your time not permit you to go in weekdays  then don’t worry weekend also not bad at all. Usually this place is not that much crowded.

After having a great evening with friends in beach side resort , we woke up in morning. The hotel served us breakfast. It was really a delicious “Puri” and “sabji”.

Now time to roam around the sea side

It is always amazing to feel  the current with the roar of the sea

after all this if you have time and interest then you can go for water ride also

It is time to say good bye after a satisfied weekend trip
